How The Idea Came Up

Michelle Drake launched InvomedLLC in 2021 with the goal of sharing an innovative stabilization device with others who use indwelling catheters. Michelle originally created the Drake Lock & Swivel, being a T6 paraplegic with a suprapubic catheter and wasn't satisfied with the current stabilization devices on the market. The ones that swiveled had strong adhesive and the ones without adhesive didn’t swivel. She took the best features of the current devices and combined them into one; a band without the strong adhesive and the swiveling retainer.
